Dispose of Waste Properly

Litter not only looks unsightly, it can also have negative effects on the natural environment. Serious illness or death can occur when wildlife or livestock consume food wrappers, plastics and other inedible litter.

Plastic bags can kill shorebirds, turtles and other marine mammals whilst fishing lines, lures and nets can ensnare or injure wildlife. Even biodegradable materials, such as orange peel, apple cores and food scraps can take years to break down and may attract scavengers that can harm other wildlife.

Reusable containers are a great way to pack food and cut down on the amount of waste we bring with us. Pack a plastic bag and use this to bring your rubbish home with you. We can enrich everyone’s outdoor experience by taking away all our rubbish.
